The Life of a Ladybug

live with intention. walk to the edge. listen hard. practice wellness. play with abandon. laugh. choose with no regret. continue to learn. appreciate your friends. do what you love. live as if this is all there is. -mary anne radmacher

To all my Baltimore-area readers . . .

The survivors of Hurricane Katrina will be coming into Baltimore City very soon. The city is preparing shelters for them to live in, temporarily. However, if you have a home, an apartment, a guest room that you are willing to open to displaced persons, please consider doing so. Also, donations of bottled water and nonperishable food items are sorely needed. You can drop off donations to any Baltimore City fire station. My church, Morning Star Baptist Church of Catonsville, is participating in a citywide faith-based effort to raise $100,000 for the relief effort. This coming Sunday, September 11, is Hurricane Relief Sunday at my church. If you are willing to donate even the smallest amount, please stop by the church - 154 Winters Lane, Catonsville, MD - anytime before or on Sunday. Or, if you cannot get to the church, please feel free to contact me and I will see that your donation gets there. My church is also taking any donations of clothing, toiletries, personal items or nonperishable food or water. Thank you so much for your continued prayers, thoughts and efforts toward the survivors.
